TRANSFORMATION
This is that place where butterflies come,
It's safe, and loving and warm,
I can raise above my problems,
I can rise above the storm.
I wasn't always a butterfly,
I once was a worm you see,
I crawled along the ground,
lost lonely, sad, hurt, ugly and afraid.
Then I found a safe place,
where I could just BE, to go and hibernate,
just rest, be fed, be free.
To praise my God, read and ponder his word,
maybe even disolve the old....me.
Then one day I looked at me,
and did not recognize myself,
Who was that beautiful creature
with the lovely gossimer wings!

It's ME, It's ME, It's ME I said
how on earth could this be,
I went to sleep, I dreamed beautiful dreams,
and looked what has happened to ME!
Now I can fly, now I can soar,
above the grief, sorrow, and pain,
I am transformed,
I'll never be the same!
I didn't know what was happening at the time,
but, God had plans for me,
better than I could imagine, better than I could see!
So when things look black, and grief has struck,
and you are down on your luck,
don't give up, go some where warm,
where you can keep out of the storm.
Curl up and take a nap, the cacoon is so inviting,
you'll feel better when you do,
and in no time at all,
You will see a new..... YOU!
You will say, it's ME, it's ME
and you will be amazed,
and all the troubles and sorrows,
you thought would never end,
Before long you will know they,
were your greatest friends,
They have all dissolved, where did they go,
life is new, and carefree too,
where did they go, I'll tell you true,
Your loving Savior took them from you!
You are born anew,
with a mighty changed heart,
and mind and soul.
and mind and soul.
This new creature you are,
will be exciting to get to know.
The views you have now are amazing,
You can see so clear and so far,
You didn't dream how far you have come,
But here..... YOU are!

REFLECTIONS
REFLECTIONS
AS YOU LOOK IN THE MIRROR EACH MORNING,
AND SEE YOUR REFECTION WITHIN
REMEMBER THE LOVE OF YOUR SAVIOR
AND KEEP YOUR LIFE FREE FROM SIN.
LOOK FOR THE BEAUTIES WITHIN YOU,
THE GIFTS FROM YOUR FATHER ABOVE.
PRAYERFULLY SEEK FOR GOD'S WISDOM,
FEEL IN YOUR HEART YOU ARE LOVED.
LOOK TO DEVELOP THESE BEAUTIES,
SEARCH EVERYDAY FOR HIS LIGHT.
FOLLOW ALONG IN HIS FOOTSTEPS,
YOU ARE PRECIOUS AND PURE IN HIS SIGHT.
A DAUGHTER OF GOD WILL BE LOOKING
IN THE MIRROR EVERY MORNING AND NIGHT.
A DAUGHTER WHO HAS MANY TALENTS,
A DAUGHTER WHO KNOWS WHAT IS RIGHT.
FATHER WILL TENDERLY WATCH HER,
AND HELP HER ALONG EVERY DAY.
HE'LL HELP HER AS SHE MAKES HER OWN CHOICES,
AND WITHIN HIS ARMS SHE WILL STAY.
NOW DAUGHTER, YOU ARE THAT PERSON,
YOU ARE THE ONE THAT IS LOVED
YOU'RE IN THE HANDS OF YOUR MAKER,
YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN ABOVE!

SAFE PLACE
SAFE PLACE
This is a safe place where I can just be. How great that is. I do Genealogy, I am A Family History Consultant,
part time Sunday School Teacher which I love.
I know I am blessed because of what I do! And I am a MORMON! I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The following is what I was inspired to write 15 years ago:
I am like a caterpillar, crawling along the ground,
lost, lonely, sad, hurt ugly and afraid.
Now I am going into my cacoon, where I can be safe,
where I can learn to trust, be loved, changed,
and be the best I can be. so when I break out, where I can learn to trust, be loved, changed,
I will be an iridescent butterfly,
where I can rise above the challenges
that so easily beset me, where anyone who
sees me will know of my beauty.
They will know who I am, Me, Me, Me
a beautiful child of God,
trusting in a kind, wise Heavenly Father,
the Father I never had,
in Him is everything I can be,
the God seeds in embryo.

CHAMPION
The average runner sprints
Until the breath in him is gone;
But the Champion has the iron will
That make him carry on.....
For rest, the average runner begs
When limp his muscles grow;
But the Champion runs on leaden legs,
His spirit makes him go!
The average man's complacent
When he does his best to score,
But the champion does his best
And then-he does a little more.
