JESUS IS RISEN

 ATONEMENT

HE LIVES AGAIN

Down from glory came our blessed Savior,
Came to free us all from sin and shame.
Though he knew His life would end in Calvary,
Still He came to save us!
Praise His Name!

Jesus came!  Yes He came,
And upon the cross one day, was slain,
Jesus came!
Praise His name!
Now a soul that is lost may live again.

Though He knew the pain that He would suffer
Still, in His great love, He came to earth;
Paid for us a price of untold suffering;
Offering us a gift of priceless worth.

For this gift we thank Thee,
blessed Savior!
Help us to follow you we pray,
Let us follow thy example, Lord
And be baptised in the right way!
That this sacrifice you made to save us
May not be in vain, dear Lord, we pray!

RED ROSE

Red rose, a symbol of beauty and elegance,
with it's stimulating fragrance.
it's velvet petals, soft to the touch,  and lush leaves
are admired as regal it stands!

It is a token of true and bountiful love
 that is everlasting and rare,
When your sweetheart gives it to you
he makes a pledge to always be there;
and to always be true!

FAVORITE THINGS

These are a few of my favorite things that are dear to me, and I will tell you why.
These things I love to ponder, about and how grateful am I!
They make me want to jump and shout for joy.
One is our flag "old glory" and to live in the USA.
A place where I can know of my Savior's love, and a place where I can sing and pray.
A place where I can pledge allegiance to the American flag
A place I call my home and will always want to stay.

Don't you just love fireworks! that light up the sky?
celebrating freedom and the first, 4th of July.
Independence Day-- It makes me feel like a kid again,
and glad to be alive.
Especially when those fireworks brighten up the star filled sky.

When thinking of the dove of peace, it brings to my soul sweet release,
when I am troubled or afraid, I remember what His deciples said, "Master the tempest is raging, the billows are tossing high, carest thou not that we perish and die."   What did our dear Savior say?
"Peace, peace be still," and immediately the sea obeyed!
He can do the same for you and me,
and fill our hearts with calm serenity.

We have beautiful temples that dot the land,
Going there is part of his plan, and it helps me understand,
The plan of salvation He set in motion for us, when He atoned for our sins.
It make me glad to know that I can have a new birth!
He knows his children, and wants us to know our worth,
So He has given us the greatest place on earth.
His home where we can come to worship and pray,
leaving the things of the world behind on those days.
We focus on eternal things, things that eye can't see,
and it gives to us a vision.....of eternity.
