MOTHER'S DAY

MY PRECIOUS DAUGHTER KENDRA, MADE THIS CROSS STITCH FOR ME A FEW YEARS AGO.  IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL I WANTED TO SHARE IT WITH YOU ALL, I THINK ITS FITS TODAY.  PAT

MOTHER’S DAY

M  Is for the million things
…..Mothers do each day
…..To make of home a happy place
     Where children love to play.
O..Is for the others whom
…..Each mother gladly serves,
…..But who, so seldom think of her
…..With love she well deserves.
T…Is for her toil and trust,
  Her tolerance and tears,
And for the thousand things we learn
  From her throughout the years.
H   Is for her loving heart,
  Her gentle helping hands,
  And also for her honesty
  She teaches and demands.
E…Is for her smiling eyes
  Which give encouragement,
And for the earnest way she tries
  To make our lives content.
R…Is for the right –well earned—
To bear the name of “MOTHER”
And, so, today, and every day,
Let’s show her that we love her!

Today we celebrate Mothers and
all women!

STANDING AT THE DOOR

                     HE WAITS

He stood outside my heart’s door knocking
Waiting to possess my heart
And I heeded not His tender whisper
But He waited, His heart filled with love.

When, at last, my heart all torn and broken
My soul filled with arrogance and pride,
I stopped to think of how I had ignored Him,
I found Him waiting patiently outside.

At the time, when He was really needed,
He was there to cleanse my heart, of sin and shame,
And though I felt I never could deserve it,
He heard me, Praise His holy name.

He was there!  Outside my heart’s door waiting,
What mercy that He had stayed so long!
For I had made Him wait, unheeding,
And repeatedly had done things wrong.

But, now I’ve opened the door to my heart
And my Savior gives me love, and strength and peace
And I stand in awe and wonder, and gratitude
Because of His atonement, my love for Him, will never cease!

WHAT PRAYER CAN DO

 WHAT PRAYER CAN DO

“Lord, what a change within us one short hour makes
Spent in Thy Presence will prevail to make!
What heavy burdens from our bosom take,
What parched grounds refresh us as with a shower!
 We kneel and all around us seems to lower;
We rise, and all the distant and the near
Stand forth in sunny outline, brave and clear.
 We kneel, how weak!
We rise how full of power!
Why, therefore, should we do ourselves this wrong,
Or others—because we are not always strong;
 That we are ever over burdened with care;
That we should ever weak or heartless be,
Anxious or troubled when with you is prayer,
And joy and strength and courage are with thee?”

The Dean of Westminster
This is an old poem, with a great message it will be included in my e-book that should be out soon.

I think this is the picture that will be the cover of my e-book.
