MOTHER’S DAY

M  Is for the million things

…..Mothers do each day

…..To make of home a happy place

     Where children love to play.

O..Is for the others whom

…..Each mother gladly serves,

…..But who, so seldom think of her

…..With love she well deserves.

T…Is for her toil and trust,

…  Her tolerance and tears,

…  And for the thousand things we learn

…  From her throughout the years.

H   Is for her loving heart,

…  Her gentle helping hands,

…  And also for her honesty

…  She teaches and demands.

E…Is for her smiling eyes

…  Which give encouragement,

…  And for the earnest way she tries

…  To make our lives content.

R…Is for the right –well earned—

…  To bear the name of “MOTHER”

…  And, so, today, and every day,

…  Let’s show her that we love her!
